Education

I began my career in higher education as a research scientist at New York University’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. Education is vital and should be handled by state and local communities. I support efforts to reduce federal overreach in education because parents are best suited to make educational choices for their children.

I have cosponsored bills like the Family Farm and Small Business Exemption Act, which would amend FAFSA to make education more accessible for the sons and daughters of our producers and the Promoting American Patriotism In Our Schools Act which would require the Pledge of Allegiance to be recited everyday and the American Flag to be displayed in federally funded elementary and secondary schools. As your Member of Congress, I will work to preserve federal programs Montanans depend on while eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse.
