This month, I am proud to recognize Supervisory Agent Andrew Yedinak, who has devoted his career to protecting vulnerable individuals and combating some of the most difficult crimes facing our communities.

Andrew has served in law enforcement for more than two decades and joined the Montana Department of Justice in 2017. Throughout his career, he has worked in patrol, undercover narcotics operations, SWAT, major case investigations, and internet crimes against children investigations.

Today, Andrew leads Montana’s Human Trafficking Unit within the Division of Criminal Investigation, where he works tirelessly to protect victims and bring traffickers to justice.

His efforts have helped raise awareness about the realities of human trafficking in Montana and across the country. Through his work with survivors, law enforcement agencies, and community organizations, Andrew has become a leading voice in the fight against exploitation and abuse.

In addition to his investigative work, Andrew has been a strong advocate for mental health awareness within law enforcement, encouraging first responders to openly address the trauma and challenges they face in the line of duty.

Andrew’s dedication to protecting others and supporting those in need reflects the very best of Montana. It is my honor to recognize Andrew Yedinak this May as an individual who embodies the themes of public safety, justice, and law enforcement in our communities.
